Free Agency Update

The latest and greatest in signings and trades from around the league.

Just 59 days until training camps open.

Signings

-The Detroit Pistons have re-signed Will Bynum to a 3-year, $10.5 million contract.

-Jannero Pargo is joining the Golden State Warriors for 2 years, $2.4 million.

-Rasual Butler will remain a Clipper; terms of the deal are not known.

-Mitch Kupchak, GM of the Lakers, has said he expects LA to re-sign Shannon Brown within a week.

-Josh Howard and the Wizards are very close to agreeing on a deal.

Rumors and musings

-The Bulls and Tracy McGrady were rumored to be close to agreement, but the team has reportedly backed off their efforts when McGrady implied he doesn't want to come off the bench.

-Chicago has also been rumored to be looking at Keith Bogans, Roger Mason and Eddie House. Meanwhile, Bulls' forward James Johnson has been made available, according to sources.

Recent trades

-This week the Cavaliers sent Delonte West and Sebastian Telfair to the Timberwolves for Ramon Sessions, Ryan Hollins and a future second-round pick. Both West and Telfair are expected to be either waived or bought-out by Minnesota.

-The Raptors acquired David Andersen from the Rockets for cash and a future second-round pick.

Shooting guard: Tracy McGrady, Roger Mason, Larry Hughes, Eddie House

Small forward: Bobby Simmons, Joe Alexander

Power forward: Craig Smith, Anthony Tolliver, Louis Amundson, Brian Skinner

Center: Shaquille O'Neal, Kwame Brown, Hilton Armstrong, Josh Boone
